Base Salary
$218k - $291k/yr
Responsibilities
- Act as the senior technical authority for identity services across platforms and teams.
- Define IAM architecture, engineering standards, reference implementations, and identity patterns adopted across multiple teams.
- Architect and implement authentication, authorization, federation, passwordless authentication, API authorization, adaptive access control, and SCIM-based identity lifecycle management.
- Review system designs and code for security, scalability, and correctness.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance to product and platform partners.
- Influence technical roadmaps and priorities through identity-domain expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems.
- 5+ years as a technical lead or architect in identity management owning end-to-end system design.
- Extensive experience designing and building identity and access management systems.
- Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM.
- Experience with federated and unified identity architectures in distributed environments.
- Proven ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams and platforms.
- Preferred experience includes identity verification, risk-based authentication, trust signals, Zero Trust architectures, adaptive access control, and operating identity platforms at scale in regulated or security-sensitive environments.
