Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python and Django.
- Create and maintain Databricks pipelines using PySpark.
- Develop and maintain the internal Data Registry supporting data governance across the organization.
- Take responsibility for the security of the web application and AWS accounts.
- Implement robust security and data protection mechanisms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Stay current with technologies and innovations in web and data development.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of Python and its ecosystem.
- Solid experience building web applications with Django.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript web fundamentals.
- Hands-on AWS experience, including services such as CloudFormation, ECS, and S3.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Databricks experience building and maintaining data pipelines is preferred.
- Exposure to Azure services and data tools is preferred.
- Experience automating and optimizing development workflows is preferred.
- Strong ownership, collaboration, communication, documentation, and quality focus are expected.
