Responsibilities
- Own the Go services behind the Dashboard and SDK, including APIs, data models, and frontend contracts.
- Design authentication, authorization, billing, and usage-metering functionality.
- Build real-time backends using WebSockets and SSE for sandbox logs and metrics.
- Optimize data access and server-side performance through query design, caching, and response-time improvements.
- Partner with dashboard engineers to ship end-to-end features and with Core and Platform teams at product-infrastructure boundaries.
- Make architectural decisions around observability, testing, and security best practices.
- Take projects from conception through launch and iteration with substantial autonomy.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience shipping production backend services, with deep expertise in Go.
- Strong API design skills covering REST/RPC, contracts, versioning, and frontend-oriented interfaces.
- Solid PostgreSQL experience, including schema design, query optimization, migrations, and data at scale.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, server-side performance, and real-time data flows using WebSockets and SSE.
- Working TypeScript competence; Next.js experience is a plus.
- Understanding of frontend data-fetching patterns.
- Ability to work in person from Prague and interest in devtool products and the AI space.
- Strong ownership, communication, curiosity, customer communication, and ability to explain technical tradeoffs.
