Responsibilities
- Own the Go services behind the dashboard and SDK, including APIs and data models.
- Design authentication, billing, and usage-metering surfaces.
- Build real-time backends using WebSockets and SSE for sandbox logs and metrics.
- Optimize data access and server-side performance through query design and caching.
- Collaborate with dashboard engineers to ship features end-to-end.
- Make architectural decisions regarding observability, testing, and security best practices.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience shipping production backend services with expertise in Go.
- Strong API design skills, including REST/RPC and versioning.
- Proficient in PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
- Solid understanding of backend fundamentals like authentication and real-time data flows.
- Working knowledge of TypeScript, with Next.js experience being a plus.
- Ability to understand data fetching patterns on the frontend.
- Ownership mentality and ability to see projects through from conception to launch.
- Excellent communication skills and a curiosity about the AI space.
