Responsibilities
- Architect and provision the IDDE DevSecOps environment using Terraform.
- Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications and microservices with Kubernetes.
- Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for software building, testing, and deployment.
- Administer IDDE systems across hybrid AWS and Azure cloud environments.
- Manage tool deployment, infrastructure configuration, Windows Active Directory, and user accounts.
- Execute STIG evaluation, analysis, and implementation in collaboration with cyber engineers.
- Integrate automated security and code scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines.
- Support deliverables and releases, create infrastructure documentation, and manage deployment orchestration.
Requirements
- Master’s degree plus 12 years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree plus 20 years of experience.
- Hands-on experience with complex Terraform Infrastructure as Code deployments.
- Experience building, deploying, and managing Kubernetes containerized environments.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Operational experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS enterprise cloud environments.
- Experience with Windows Server administration, Windows Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and SCCM.
- Experience with STIG analysis, deployment orchestration, and security/code scanning tools.
- Experience with integrated development environments such as Coder.
- CompTIA Security+ certification is required for baseline DoD compliance.
- Active Secret-or-higher security clearance is required.
- Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, and adaptability skills are required.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist.
- Advanced familiarity with GitLab for code repositories, pipeline execution, and backlog management.
