Responsibilities

  • Research and evaluate machine learning models and techniques for speech recognition, natural language processing, procedural content generation, and related applications.
  • Tailor machine learning models and inference frameworks to FC requirements and integrate them into game systems.
  • Optimize on-device C++ runtime inference systems for target platform constraints and performance KPIs.
  • Collaborate with game team members to develop and ship machine learning-powered features.
  • Present work, demonstrate applications, and promote machine learning best practices within the team.
  • Track machine learning advancements and collaborate with internal experts and external AI technology vendors to identify and prototype opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong computer programming fundamentals with proficiency in C++ and Python.
  • Applied experience optimizing machine learning inference systems across memory, compute, latency, or other real-time constraints.
  • Proven experience building, deploying, and maintaining machine learning applications in productized software.
  • Preferred: PhD or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Preferred: experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Preferred: experience optimizing machine learning models for memory- and compute-constrained real-time environments.
  • Preferred: experience with real-time rendering engines and IHV GPU/NPU-specific parallel computing platforms.
