Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of enterprise collaboration platforms covering chat, conferencing, file sharing, and email.
- Drive platform resilience, performance, reliability, automation, proactive issue detection, and remediation.
- Integrate AI-powered solutions, communication tools, and core business workflows.
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical reviews and architectural guidance.
- Evaluate custom and commercial systems and lead performance tuning, optimization, and technical-debt reduction.
- Drive technical roadmaps, proofs of concept, integrations, and strategic collaboration-domain ownership.
Requirements
- Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in platform, systems, or infrastructure roles.
- Deep expertise in at least one collaboration or communication domain, such as conferencing, chat/messaging, or bot and integration frameworks.
- Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Strong experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and system observability or monitoring.
- Experience with scalable architectures, containerization, and identity and access management such as SSO and RBAC.
- Strong problem-solving, technical leadership, and system-level thinking skills.
- Preferred experience integrating AI or automation agents, developing real-time collaboration stacks, performance engineering, latency optimization, high-throughput systems, commercial solutions with custom modules, open-source technologies, or regulated and high-security environments.
