Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate financial platforms and core services for financial services within the Coupang ecosystem.
- Build financial systems capable of processing large-scale transaction data.
- Ensure data consistency, system stability, scalability, and trustworthy customer services.
- Collaborate with Product, Business, Finance, and other engineering teams to solve complex financial problems.
- Rapidly bring new financial services to market while improving customer experience and technological innovation.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of backend development experience.
- Experience with distributed systems based on Java or Kotlin and the Spring framework.
- Strong problem-solving ability and demonstrated ability to resolve issues in practice.
- Interest in developing customer services and business development.
- Strong motivation to grow as a developer.
- Preferred: strong understanding of JPA and MSA.
- Preferred: experience working in the payment domain.
- Preferred: experience with large-scale operational systems that include incident management and monitoring capabilities.
- Preferred: familiarity with Agile software methodologies.
- Preferred: experience performing reconciliation of large-volume data.
