Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and document application test scenarios and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.
- Create, implement, and maintain test coverage for web and mobile applications.
- Execute testing for each sprint or testing phase, including exploratory testing during development.
- Analyze and document bugs and customer issues.
- Prioritize testing tasks, scenarios, and test cases, and track and report testing activities.
- Collaborate with QA Analysts, Developers, UX Designers, Product Managers, and Scrum Masters in agile teams.
- Contribute to QA process improvements, consistency, and standardization across product lines.
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with test strategies, test planning, test-case prioritization, and test execution.
- Good understanding of web and mobile applications, web services, databases, the OSI model, and TCP/IP networking principles.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle.
- Some previous exposure to software testing is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn continuously, update skills in a cross-platform environment, and share knowledge with team members and management.
