Responsibilities
- Design and develop test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.
- Create, implement, and maintain test coverage for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with test teams and prioritize testing tasks, scenarios, and test cases.
- Conduct various types of testing during feature development and release cycles.
- Track and report testing activities and contribute to QA process improvements and standardization.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in a related post-secondary program such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Have knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and database fundamentals.
- Have basic knowledge of software development life cycle concepts and test strategies.
- Have basic programming knowledge in one or more of C, C++, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Ruby, Rust, Lua, or Haskell.
- Understand web and mobile application testing, web services testing, the OSI model, and TCP/IP networking principles.
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a desire to learn and work as part of a team.
