Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve the documentation site’s infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes.
- Support Builder Experience teams through structured authoring platforms, automation, and cross-regional technical support.
- Implement frontend changes that improve the user experience, appearance, and functionality of Okta’s documentation sites.
- Collaborate with DocTool Leads on content structure, product versioning, and documentation usability for global audiences.
Requirements
- At least 4+ years of development experience.
- Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, OpenAPI, and JAMstack architecture.
- Experience with documentation frameworks or technologies such as DITA, Redocly, and VuePress.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, CircleCI, Vercel, and Artifactory.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI tools for coding, workflow automation, and tooling enhancements.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong verbal communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in an agile environment.
- Experience working with technical writers, documentation processes, and localization is desired.
