Base Salary
$200k - $310k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end development of reusable self-serve tooling that converts repeated marketing requests into platform capabilities.
- Drive the direction of agentic and AI-augmented workflows with strong production guardrails.
- Build MCP integrations, AI content workflows, experimentation tooling, and programmatic sales asset creation capabilities.
- Partner with marketers, designers, and PMs to identify and automate the highest-leverage workflows.
- Ship quickly while maintaining quality, brand standards, and the reliability of Ramp’s production marketing funnel.
- Reduce engineering ticket volume by enabling marketing work to ship without direct engineering involvement.
Requirements
- 4+ years of product engineering experience, ideally including user-facing or platform-tooling work at a high-growth technology company.
- Demonstrated experience building internal tools or platforms that materially reduce repetitive workflows for non-engineers.
- Backend experience with Python and TypeScript, with familiarity with Next.js and Sanity CMS-based applications.
- Experience shipping agentic workflows, MCP servers, or LLM-powered tooling, or a strong and opinionated perspective on these systems.
- Strong product instincts, ownership, independent execution, and the ability to prioritize and scope work effectively.
- Strong cross-functional empathy and ability to collaborate directly with marketers, designers, and product managers.
- Preferred experience includes marketing or growth engineering, modern data stack tools, MCP servers, experimentation platforms, A/B testing, SEO/AEO engineering, programmatic page generation, AI-driven content workflows, and close collaboration with brand and design teams.
