Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate machine learning models for demand forecasting, replenishment, and fulfillment optimization.
- Develop algorithmic solutions to complex forecasting and supply chain problems with product, engineering, and operations teams.
- Contribute to the technical direction, model architecture, system design, and engineering best practices of the fulfillment intelligence platform.
- Work onsite in London, UK.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a machine learning engineer or applied research scientist.
- Programming experience in Java, C++, Python, or a related language.
- Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities across multiple projects, execute efficiently, and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Effective English communication skills.
- Preferred: experience in e-commerce, retail forecasting, fulfillment logistics, inventory planning, or similar domains.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Hadoop, and Spark.
- Chinese communication skills are preferred.
