Base Salary
$240k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the quality of deliverables across product features.
- Lead multiple quality initiatives in collaboration with development managers.
- Perform and guide API, integration, functional, compatibility, usability, GUI performance, accessibility, regression, upgrade, and UAT testing.
- Analyze business functions and derive comprehensive positive and negative test scenarios.
- Write SQL queries for database testing.
- Recommend and implement tools and technologies to modernize and scale automation and regression testing.
- Define and continuously improve quality engineering processes and metrics.
- Collaborate with Product Management to integrate quality early in the development lifecycle.
- Partner with engineering managers on TDD, BDD, and automation-first testing practices.
- Integrate quality engineering into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Manage or coordinate cross-functional, matrixed quality organizations and globally distributed teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Principal SDET.
- Experience managing cross-functional, matrixed quality organizations.
- Knowledge of AI and modern AI tools and their usage.
- Good experience with API and integration testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and testing types.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
- Experience with code coverage tools such as Sonar.
- Proficiency with modern test automation frameworks and a broad range of testing and analysis tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and results-oriented skills.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams.
- Ability to connect technical capabilities with business outcomes.
