Responsibilities
- Drive and continuously improve the SSDLC program across cloud-native and on-premises applications.
- Perform security reviews, vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and provide remediation or mitigation guidance.
- Guide developers on secure coding, secure architecture, secure software design, and DevSecOps practices.
- Support static and dynamic analysis, attack-surface analysis, software composition analysis, penetration testing, and vulnerability monitoring.
- Design and support security controls and manage, optimize, and upgrade SSDLC security tool suites.
- Analyze security-tool outputs with customers, developers, and the Software Security Group.
- Provide secure-coding training, technical documentation, and security best-practice guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years supporting an SSDLC program or similar secure software activities.
- 4+ years of relevant information technology or development experience.
- Hands-on experience with areas such as threat modeling, static or dynamic analysis, attack-surface analysis, software composition analysis, penetration testing, vulnerability remediation, HTTP, XML, REST, C/C++, Java, web servers, and scripting languages.
- Understanding of CVSS, CWE, OWASP, ASVS, SANS Top 25, penetration-testing methodologies, cryptography, PKI, TLS/SSL, authentication and authorization, infrastructure as code, system hardening, TCP/IP networks, and secure infrastructure configuration.
- Experience working with Linux-based and Windows-based systems, enterprise computing environments, distributed applications, ticketing tools, content-management tools, and productivity and communication suites.
- Strong technical writing, documentation, communication, analytical problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
