Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and deliver native mobile features and application components for customer, team member, and business-operation experiences.
- Use AI agents and coding tools across the software development lifecycle, including prompt experimentation and critical evaluation of generated output.
- Participate in technical design discussions, estimation, code reviews, documentation, and collaboration with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and mobile developers.
- Develop unit and system tests while maintaining secure, maintainable, performant, and high-quality code.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot existing and new features across mobile applications and integrated systems.
- Use logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and monitoring tools to assess system health and validate production changes.
- Own assigned work through completion, communicate status and blockers, and identify opportunities for automation, improvement, and learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and two years of related experience, or an alternative combination such as a master’s degree with up to two years of experience or 14 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated native mobile development experience with Android using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose and/or iOS using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Working knowledge of mobile integrations with REST APIs, backend services such as Java/Spring Boot, authentication patterns, relational data models, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with modern mobile architecture patterns, platform development tools, testing frameworks, and performance optimization.
- Consistent and effective use of AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Cursor, with the ability to provide context and evaluate output quality.
- Experience with Git workflows, branching strategies, collaborative development, logging, metrics, monitoring, and observability tools such as New Relic.
- Ability to troubleshoot moderately complex issues with limited guidance and communicate technical tradeoffs and status to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Spec Driven Development experience is a plus.
