Base Salary
$154k - $217k/yr
Responsibilities
- Triage privacy and security incidents, identify facts, involve appropriate stakeholders, and assess impact.
- Mitigate and remediate privacy and security vulnerabilities based on incident findings.
- Identify, document, and remediate root causes and contributing factors.
- Guide Software Engineers through vulnerability remediation and apply incident learnings to prevent recurrence.
- Build AI agents and agent pipelines to discover, prevent, and remediate vulnerabilities and privacy issues across Meta products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical privacy or security engineering, including incident response, application privacy/security, or offensive security.
- At least 5 years of coding experience in Python, PHP, Java, C/C++, or an equivalent language, including code maintenance and review.
- Experience identifying, analyzing, and remediating real-world privacy or security threats.
- Preferred: 7+ years of technical privacy or security engineering experience.
- Preferred: experience integrating AI tools, applying responsible and ethical AI practices, developing AI skills, and using prompt/context engineering or agent orchestration.
- Preferred: technical contributions to the privacy or security community and experience communicating technical issues across a corporate environment.
Benefits
- Base salary of $154,000/year to $217,000/year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
