Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions for Nokia Defense Connectivity projects.
  • Write high-quality maintainable code using C/C++ and modern software engineering practices.
  • Perform unit, integration, and cross-component testing.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues involving telecommunications, networking, and defense systems.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
  • Collaborate with architects, technical leads, and integration teams on system design and implementation.
  • Support continuous integration, automation, and DevOps activities.
  • Follow quality, security, and defense compliance standards.

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of 5G Radio or Core technologies.
  • Experience with software programming languages such as C/C++.
  • Interest in artificial intelligence tools and techniques.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability, with capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Valid personal identification document from a NATO-member country.
  • Knowledge of tactical communications or mission-critical networks is preferred.
  • Knowledge of drones, autonomous systems, cybersecurity, or defense technologies is preferred.
  • Understanding of embedded systems, real-time operating systems, or telecommunication protocols is preferred.
  • Exposure to agile frameworks such as Scrum is preferred.
