Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions for Nokia Defense Connectivity projects.
- Write high-quality maintainable code using C/C++ and modern software engineering practices.
- Perform unit, integration, and cross-component testing.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues involving telecommunications, networking, and defense systems.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
- Collaborate with architects, technical leads, and integration teams on system design and implementation.
- Support continuous integration, automation, and DevOps activities.
- Follow quality, security, and defense compliance standards.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of 5G Radio or Core technologies.
- Experience with software programming languages such as C/C++.
- Interest in artificial intelligence tools and techniques.
- Analytical and problem-solving ability, with capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
- Valid personal identification document from a NATO-member country.
- Knowledge of tactical communications or mission-critical networks is preferred.
- Knowledge of drones, autonomous systems, cybersecurity, or defense technologies is preferred.
- Understanding of embedded systems, real-time operating systems, or telecommunication protocols is preferred.
- Exposure to agile frameworks such as Scrum is preferred.
