Responsibilities

  • Create complex, scalable coding frameworks and durable reusable software frameworks for use across teams and functions.
  • Develop, review, debug, and deliver secure, high-quality production code.
  • Architect and govern agentic AI-enabled engineering workflows for code review, testing, release readiness, incident triage, and root-cause acceleration.
  • Define guardrails for validation, security, resiliency, auditability, traceability, sensitive-data handling, and reuse in AI-enabled engineering practices.
  • Use software development lifecycle tools and enterprise-authorized AI-assisted automation to improve delivery outcomes at scale.
  • Advise cross-functional teams and serve as the subject matter expert for the function.
  • Influence senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology organizations while managing multiple portfolios and competing priorities.
  • Develop technical methods and lead adoption of responsible, scalable engineering practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience, or equivalent expertise, leading technology organizations and delivering complex enterprise-scale programs.
  • Enterprise-grade proficiency in Python and associated software development lifecycle processes.
  • Proficiency provisioning AWS infrastructure with Terraform and hands-on experience with AWS networking boundaries, resource and IAM policies, cross-account and cross-region access, and compute at scale.
  • Executive-level ability to influence and align senior business, product, and technology leaders.
  • Deep enterprise Databricks expertise spanning architecture, performance tuning, cost management, security patterns, and operational excellence.
  • Experience designing and leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled development practices with human-in-the-loop validation, auditability, traceability, and secure sensitive-data handling.
  • Strong understanding of responsible AI controls, security and resiliency implications, data sensitivity, and risk-based governance.
  • Preferred: knowledge of global data governance, privacy, regulatory requirements, data lakes, data warehouses, lakehouse architectures, and distributed computing frameworks.
  • Preferred: experience with enterprise metadata, catalog, and lineage platforms, data contracts, and schema governance.
