Responsibilities
- Write high-quality, documented, efficient, tested, and maintainable software.
- Design and develop distributed backend systems, REST APIs, dashboards, tools, and internal services.
- Improve application security, performance, stability, observability, and monitoring.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews and help improve teammates' technical skills and coding standards.
- Provide architectural guidance and collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Estimate and plan deliverables, work through ambiguous requirements, and build incremental solutions with the product team.
- Deliver automated and well-tested features, including E2E tests.
- Monitor and respond to production incidents.
- Lead projects through delivery and mentor team members as a technical role model.
- Participate in hiring engineers at the same or lower levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Professional software engineering experience using Java or Kotlin.
- Experience designing and developing distributed systems.
- Experience with technologies such as Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Advanced English proficiency at C1 level.
