Base Salary

$89k - $89k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop software for airborne computers that process and display mission data in aircraft cockpits.
  • Develop software for crypto products used to identify friendly aircraft.
  • Develop software for weapon-control systems that enable the launch and control of precision-guided weapons.
  • Work as part of a cross-functional team on advanced aircraft and defense systems.
  • Apply software engineering concepts and processes, automated testing, and potentially AI-driven continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related science, engineering, or mathematics field.
  • U.S. citizenship is required because of the nature of the classified work.
  • Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at the time of hire.
  • Preferred skills include embedded software, automated testing, C, C++, Python, Rust, and Linux.
  • Understanding of software engineering concepts, principles, theories, software development processes, and agile methodology.
  • Ability to learn new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities and complexity.
