Responsibilities
- Design, develop, unit test, and support software enhancements and customizations for the Blue Yonder WMS product suite.
- Analyze business and customer requirements and propose effective technical solutions.
- Prepare technical approach documents, effort estimates, high-level estimates, risk assessments, quotes, and functional and technical approaches.
- Plan and manage software releases, rollouts, patches, release schedules, and release notes.
- Provide technical input for pre-sales activities and coordinate product or solution demonstrations for clients.
- Collaborate with customers, project teams, Dev Leads, and Scrum Leads on requirements, specifications, estimates, and delivery.
- Conduct peer reviews and ensure feedback is addressed across code and documentation deliverables.
- Investigate, triage, and resolve defects and issues through code fixes and unit testing within defined SLAs.
- Provide on-site or remote support for go-live activities, dry runs, testing, and deployments while working in customer time zones.
- Provide technical guidance to assigned engineers and take ownership of end-to-end project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant discipline; MCA or MSc in Computer Science is also accepted.
- More than 7 years of relevant experience and no less than 10 years of total experience.
- Experience with Java, Ext JS, JavaScript, and PL/SQL.
- Experience with MOCA and WMS Integrator is required.
- Experience with Blue Yonder, JDA, RedPrairie WMS, or other WMS platforms is preferred.
- Experience in test management and test execution.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, build processes, IDEs, database tools, source code control, and development workflows.
- Experience with GitHub and Jenkins, and familiarity with JIRA.
- Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems, including command-line usage.
- Experience using Cursor AI, Replit AI, or GitHub Copilot for development, code refactoring, and unit testing.
- Ability to evaluate competing solutions, provide technical guidance, make recommendations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication and professional relationship-building skills.
