Responsibilities
- Design and build applications using Golang.
- Support component design, development, maintenance, and technical quality within project teams.
- Assist with structured practices for source code management, building, and deployment.
- Design and implement data storage solutions.
- Optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
- Gather user and client feedback and build solutions based on their needs.
- Analyze client requirements and support Technical Leaders with project execution and delivery.
- Collaborate with distributed client and engineering teams.
- Participate in testing, code reviews, and pull-request-based software development.
Requirements
- Significant experience delivering at a Senior Engineer level, typically at least six years of commercial experience.
- Deep knowledge of Golang and practical experience delivering real-world software solutions.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Strong understanding of version control tools such as Git.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing and related tools.
- Practical experience with databases and cloud environments.
- Experience with automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
- Experience building software collaboratively through pull requests and code reviews.
- Professional proficiency in English and strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Next.js experience is preferred.
- Python and AI/ML library experience is preferred.
- Financial services experience and knowledge of data science techniques such as data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation are desirable.
