Base Salary
$175k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of complex features.
- Maintain high code quality through rigorous code reviews and unit testing.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks, memory leaks, and crashes.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications with Product Managers.
- Stay updated with the Apple ecosystem and integrate relevant technologies.
- Share knowledge and document best practices to contribute to team growth.
- Build a personalized shopping experience for app users.
- Migrate legacy UIKit components into a modular architecture.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering in a feedback loop.
- Ensure the app's look and feel is smooth and accessible.
Requirements
- 7+ years of iOS development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and ability to work with mixed Swift/Objective-C codebases.
- Strong understanding of application architecture.
- Experience with LLM coding assistants and agentic development.
- Experience with SwiftUI and UIKit.
- Familiarity with MVVM or similar architectural patterns.
- Experience with reactive programming (Combine, RxSwift, or ReactiveObjC).
- Experience with local persistence and caching strategies.
- Experience writing unit tests and working with mocks/test doubles.
- Understanding of dependency injection and writing testable code.
- Familiarity with modular architecture using Swift Package Manager.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience migrating legacy codebases from Objective-C to Swift.
