Responsibilities
- Conduct thesis research and assignments addressing client challenges and opportunities in R&D, engineering, manufacturing, AI, and sustainability.
- Help define R&D and AI strategies and roadmaps for digital transformation.
- Analyze and redesign engineering and business processes through workshops, interviews, and practical improvements.
- Prototype and deploy AI solutions, potentially including data pipelines, model experiments, and proof-of-concept applications.
- Support implementation of PLM platforms, RAG systems, LLM orchestration, computer vision, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Collaborate with Accenture colleagues and gain exposure to strategy and consulting work.
Requirements
- Be nearing completion of a master’s degree at a Dutch university in Computer Science, AI, or a related technical field.
- Have hands-on experience with Python for scripting and backend development and with modern web technologies through coursework, projects, or prior experience.
- Have exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools.
- Be comfortable with Git and GitHub, including Actions, Projects, and advanced version control.
- Have some experience deploying applications on Azure and familiarity with Docker and Linux.
- Be familiar with at least one ML framework, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras, and understand deep learning, computer vision, and generative AI concepts including RAG and LLM orchestration.
- Experience deploying AI logic to edge environments is a plus.
- Be fluent in English; Dutch is a strong asset.
- Be interested in consulting and digital business transformation and able to work independently in a professional, precise, proactive, multidisciplinary environment.
Benefits
- Approximately six-month internship with a minimum duration of four months.
- Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
- Based at Accenture’s main office in Amsterdam, with at least three days per week in the office.
- Start date is the first day of each month.
