Responsibilities
- Contribute to the full application lifecycle from early design and feature development through testing, deployment, monitoring, alerting, and support.
- Help define payment features with product and design teams to identify relevant solutions for members.
- Integrate new payment methods and interact with payment service providers.
- Build reliable and scalable payment capabilities supporting fraud prevention, compliance, and the end-to-end payment experience.
- Share technical expertise with technical, product, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience at companies with a strong engineering culture and in a growth context.
- Fluency in Java and familiarity with Spring, Spring Boot, JUnit, and Mockito.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Datadog monitoring solutions.
- Knowledge of service-oriented architecture and the ability to select appropriate architectural patterns.
- Full working proficiency in English and strong communication, humility, and teamwork.
- Alignment with BlaBlaCar’s principles.
