Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-grade Python applications and scripting solutions.
- Optimize existing source code for memory usage and execution speed.
- Develop and maintain Python-based tools while contributing as a subject-matter expert.
- Mentor and groom a team of Python developers.
- Design and implement scalable features using design patterns and industry best practices.
- Manage customer and stakeholder interactions independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies.
- Communicate project progress and challenges effectively.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of relevant experience, with 6–8 years of Python programming preferred.
- Extensive programming experience and strong understanding of Python, including advanced Python features.
- Knowledge of Gen AI concepts, including 2–5 years of relevant Gen AI programming experience preferred.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable features and applying design patterns and industry best practices.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git and Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, STL, and multithreaded or concurrent programming.
- Experience delivering software from design through release.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring development teams.
- A BE or M Tech qualification.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
