Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement .NET-based backend software solutions according to project requirements and technical specifications.
- Write C# and other .NET code for application features, modules, and components.
- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and other tests to validate application functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Analyze technical requirements, user stories, and system specifications to identify technical challenges and dependencies.
- Provide application development and web development support using Microsoft .NET technologies.
- Work with APIs, event-based systems, serverless architecture, Azure Functions, and CI/CD pipeline deployments.
- Follow coding standards, development processes, version control practices, SDLC practices, and Agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with onshore client counterparts and US-based stakeholders on a daily basis.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft .NET, including C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, MVC, WCF, Web API, and .NET Core.
- Knowledge of Visual Studio .NET 2012-13, 2015, 2019, WCF Services, Web API, ASP.NET 4.5, ASP.NET MVC 4, LINQ, and ASP.NET Core.
- Knowledge of Azure fundamentals and Azure Functions.
- Knowledge of SOAP UI, Splunk Logger, and Telerik Fiddler is preferred.
- Experience with event-based system development, APIs, Swagger, Postman, JIRA, and CI/CD pipeline deployments.
- Understanding of serverless architecture, SDLC, Agile methodologies, and onshore/offshore delivery models.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with US-based client counterparts.
