Responsibilities
- Design and implement traffic control and Service Mesh architecture in large-scale microservices environments.
- Develop and enhance core infrastructure components including service discovery, load balancing, and resiliency mechanisms.
- Design centralized policy and configuration management systems using a management plane.
- Strengthen inter-service communication security through mTLS encryption and identity-based authentication and authorization.
- Design and develop backend APIs using Java (Spring Boot) and infrastructure components using Go.
- Simplify complex infrastructure challenges into scalable and executable solutions.
- Establish high-quality, highly available, and scalable platform architecture standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolution of critical system issues, along with prevention mechanisms.
- Collaborate with platform teams and technical leaders to improve service scalability and drive innovation.
- Continuously improve engineering and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of software development experience with at least 2+ years in a Technical Lead role.
- Experience in designing and implementing traffic management solutions for large-scale systems.
- Hands-on experience in designing and building large-scale distributed systems within the past 3 years.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Java, Go, or Python.
- Proven track record of delivering mission-critical systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to drive complex technical initiatives independently.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and influence across teams.
