Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of Search and Indexing systems.
- Operate the Search system and participate in an out-of-hours on-call rotation.
- Help ensure the quality and soundness of the system.
- Apply expertise in distributed systems.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve high-impact issues.
Requirements
- Experience designing and operating distributed systems in production.
- Experience working with large datasets and high traffic.
- Strong attention to code quality, automated testing, and engineering best practices.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Experience working in a high-growth environment at the company’s current stage or beyond, including building internal infrastructure.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with Go is preferred.
