Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and operate the physical infrastructure supporting the bare-metal trading platform.
- Operate the trading application environment built from artifacts continuously deployed by developers and researchers.
- Manage the platform’s observability stack and intent-driven system as a coherent whole.
- Participate in the team on-call rota and resolve complex issues in a critical production environment.
- Interface with traders, researchers, application developers, internal teams, and external service providers.
- Convert pragmatic production fixes into durable engineered solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of computer science fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Linux systems.
- Proven track record designing and delivering scalable systems in production environments.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools is desirable.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools is desirable.
- Deep understanding of servers, switches, and operating systems is desirable.
- Expertise in synchronization and propagation of ultra-precise timing signals is desirable.
- Knowledge of low-latency systems, trading environments, market data, or exchange protocols is desirable.
