Responsibilities
- Define SLIs, SLOs, and long-term reliability roadmaps with engineering teams.
- Lead cross-service responses to critical incidents and implement durable solutions.
- Drive adoption of reliability patterns, deployment safety capabilities, and scalable infrastructure architecture.
- Build and improve observability tools to identify issues before production impact.
- Influence product design and system architecture to balance feature velocity with reliability.
- Mentor senior engineers and contribute to recruiting for the SRE organization.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or production engineering.
- Hands-on expertise with complex distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with AWS is preferred.
- Ability to write clean, high-performing code in at least one major programming language and automate repetitive tasks.
- Proven experience leading large-scale incident management and reliability programs.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills across engineering, product, and customer-facing teams.
