Responsibilities
- Ensure the availability, performance, resilience, and reliability of platforms operated by the SRE team.
- Analyze incidents and implement structural improvements to strengthen system reliability.
- Advise development teams on architecture, deployment, observability, performance, production, and reliability concerns.
- Design and build the internal platform used by development teams.
- Create automated deployment, observability, and operations workflows and reduce manual tasks.
- Define technical and operational standards and support platform adoption.
- Contribute to platform migration and unification, architecture decisions, and integration of shared services.
- Improve developer experience and collaborate closely with development, product, and infrastructure teams.
Requirements
- Significant experience in software development or in environments that closely integrate development and operations.
- Strong interest in infrastructure, automation, and reliability, with the ability to build tools and automations.
- Ability to understand application-team needs and address production, performance, and reliability issues.
- Comfort working in complex and continuously changing technical environments.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Linux, infrastructure as code, GitOps, or cloud-native environments is advantageous.
- Ability to design, automate, and evolve platforms is valued more than exhaustive knowledge of every listed technology.
