Base Salary
$82k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Model operational environments and perform simulation-based studies to recommend alternative architectures.
- Analyze system survivability, effectiveness, and performance in engagement- and mission-level scenarios.
- Architect, integrate, verify, and validate simulation components within aerospace project life cycles.
- Develop simulation requirements, software development plans, test plans, automated tests, and test-result documentation.
- Develop real-time hardware interfaces, integrate legacy software models, and create new models with subject matter experts.
- Integrate 3D visualization tools and develop and maintain an in-house real-time software framework.
- Triage, debug, and resolve software and hardware integration issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of systems engineering or related experience.
- Professional software development experience in a multidisciplinary team setting.
- Significant experience with C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Experience with Python software development, Linux including Bash scripting and system administration, Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, and virtualization.
- Knowledge of dynamic modeling, analytical methods, data visualization, aerospace systems, and related sciences.
- Ability to develop software and hardware integration solutions, understand new software APIs, and address human factors, UI/UX, and usability requirements.
- Experience with real-time operating systems is preferred or advantageous.
- Current in-scope Top Secret clearance required, with ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
