Responsibilities

Educate and train employees to promote a security-conscious culture.
Advocate for policy-as-code, security automation, and secure platform tooling.
Use AI/ML techniques to improve threat detection, anomaly identification, and automated security operations.
Maintain, evaluate, roll out, and improve the security technology stack.
Partner with engineering teams to embed security, vulnerability management, and security-by-design practices into products and features.
Manage internal security incident response efforts and define measurements of security risk.
Design and develop scalable tooling to automate security operations.
Mentor security team members and improve their technical and interpersonal skills.
Provide technical influence and share expertise to improve Infosec team productivity and effectiveness.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Minimum 8+ years of experience securing large scalable systems.
Extensive knowledge of security risks and mitigations for cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
Experience securing AWS infrastructure managed and provisioned using infrastructure as code.
Experience designing, developing, and operationalizing high-performance, scalable, reliable, and resilient services.
Experience securing containers and Kubernetes.
Strong knowledge of security engineering and application security.
Understanding of web or mobile application security.
Experience with penetration testing, threat modeling, and architecture reviews.
Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical thinking, business judgment, and stakeholder-influencing abilities.
Experience working with a fully distributed, remote team.
