Responsibilities
- Partner with Information Security, Compliance, Legal, and Engineering teams on regulatory and local cybersecurity obligations.
- Translate regulatory and security requirements into technical controls, implementation guidance, evidence, and reporting.
- Assess controls against regulations and industry frameworks, document risks and gaps, and coordinate remediation.
- Maintain security detection and response capabilities for internal and external threats.
- Hunt for, detect, and respond to malicious activity and anomalous events across devices and networks.
- Conduct cyber threat intelligence research, adversary emulation, purple teaming, and incident response investigations.
- Serve as HRT’s Designated Officer in India and coordinate regional compliance documentation and reporting.
- Work a predefined on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering.
- Experience with red teaming, penetration testing tools, and penetration testing techniques.
- Firm understanding of emerging AI security threats and mitigating controls.
- Experience with log analysis platforms such as ELK and Splunk.
- Experience building, deploying, and supporting automated systems, with Python preferred.
- Strong security fundamentals and experience with Linux systems and command-line tools.
- Experience supporting security governance, risk, compliance, or regulatory requirements, preferably in a heavily regulated industry.
- Experience collaborating with engineers, business stakeholders, auditors, regulators, and other technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to independently deliver work from problem definition through implementation.
- Familiarity with NIST, CIS, and SEBI CSCRF security frameworks is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality completed work.
