Responsibilities
- Assist with vulnerability assessments and penetration tests across web applications, APIs, and mobile applications.
- Support manual and automated testing for OWASP Top 10 issues, business logic flaws, and authentication and authorization vulnerabilities.
- Triage, validate, and document findings with reproduction steps, risk ratings, and remediation recommendations.
- Track vulnerability remediation with engineering teams through closure.
- Support secure code reviews and threat modeling for new features and products.
- Maintain and tune vulnerability scanning tools and internal testing tooling.
- Improve VAPT playbooks, checklists, and testing methodologies.
- Explore AI agents and MCP to enhance security testing workflows and reporting.
- Design and build automation for repetitive security testing tasks.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of web and application security concepts is a plus.
- Familiarity with VAPT tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, or Nmap is a plus.
- Basic scripting ability with Python, Bash, or similar is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of AI agents and MCP is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical findings clearly.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced security environment.
