Responsibilities
- Build and evolve scalable, high-performance web applications with React and Node.js.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into intuitive user experiences.
- Own features end-to-end, including refinement, implementation, testing, delivery, and complexity estimation.
- Optimize frontend performance, including loading times, rendering speed, bundle efficiency, and client- and server-side rendering.
- Ensure cross-browser, multi-device, accessibility, and usability standards.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, refactoring, modernization, and enforcement of engineering best practices.
- Develop automated test coverage and reliable CI/CD workflows.
- Work with DevOps on deployment reliability, observability, metrics, and monitoring.
- Support incident response, root-cause analysis, scalability, security, and long-term reliability improvements.
- Identify technical risks and communicate trade-offs to leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software development experience with strong modern frontend engineering expertise at scale.
- Deep hands-on React knowledge, including component architecture, SSR patterns, RSC, and complex UI data flows.
- Proficiency with Node.js, MongoDB, TypeScript, modern styling systems, theming approaches, and schema validation with Zod or an equivalent.
- Experience with Module Federation and bundling or compilation tools such as webpack, Rollup, Vite, and esbuild.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Vitest and Jest, plus end-to-end testing with Playwright or Cypress.
- Understanding of REST, GraphQL, and RPC-style backend integration patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD workflows, GitLab CI or similar systems, private registries, and secure artifact handling.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred experience includes shared frontend platforms, design systems, template engines, configuration frameworks, React Native, SDKs, CLI tools, developer automation, real-time interfaces, edge rendering, observability stacks, performance monitoring, accessibility, internationalization, and semantic UI design.
