Base Salary
$131k - $178k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver cloud architectures for Army workloads across data services, generative AI, serverless, compute, and storage.
- Own technical engagements and implementation projects, including implementation architectures and RFP responses.
- Advise Army and Department of Defense stakeholders on technical decisions, security controls, risks, and solution adoption.
- Lead database modernization and migration engagements using reusable design patterns and reference architectures.
- Capture and share best practices through presentations, workshops, written guidance, and peer collaboration.
- Experiment with, build, and demonstrate solutions using current AI technologies.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
- At least 4 years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- At least 10 years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
- Bachelor's degree or CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, or CSSLP certification.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to travel within the U.S. and overseas up to 35%.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS experience from a development and operations perspective, software or Internet industry experience, and experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
