Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the technical vision and strategy for AI/ML initiatives across the platform.
- Design, deploy, and manage API infrastructure on AWS platforms.
- Build and implement production-scale GenAI solutions using agentic systems and RAG techniques.
- Own deployment strategy, CI/CD practices, model versioning, infrastructure automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Establish technical standards for AI/ML infrastructure, security, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate across teams to integrate AI/ML solutions with broader platform initiatives.
- Mentor and develop the engineering squad while promoting code quality, technical excellence, and career growth.
- Provide post-production support, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant field.
- At least 10 years of engineering experience.
- Extensive experience designing and deploying AI/ML architectures with GenAI models, agentic systems, RAG techniques, and production-scale patterns.
- Advanced expertise in AI/ML architecture patterns, model lifecycle management, and production-scale deployment strategies.
- Deep architectural expertise in Python, Java, and AWS services.
- Strong expertise in AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
- Advanced proficiency with DevOps practices, deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration technologies at scale.
- Proficiency in API development and management.
- Proven ability to guide distributed agile teams and coach junior engineers.
- Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder-influence skills.
