Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using C# and .NET backend services and React frontends.
- Implement new features and enhancements with moderate guidance while owning specific components and features.
- Create and maintain APIs and integrate them with React-based frontends.
- Use Claude for code generation, documentation, debugging, code reviews, and test generation.
- Contribute to database design and development using SQL.
- Troubleshoot and resolve backend and frontend technical issues.
- Write and maintain unit tests and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Provide occasional guidance to junior developers on AI-assisted development practices.
- Stay current with relevant technologies, frameworks, and AI/LLM capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2–4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of C# and the .NET ecosystem, including .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
- Experience with React, its ecosystem, hooks, and state management.
- Proficiency with modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with SQL and relational database concepts.
- Understanding of web application security principles.
- Experience with Git and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Comfort using Claude as a daily development tool for code generation, debugging assistance, and documentation.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Docker, AWS, Java, Spring Boot, automated testing frameworks, performance optimization, responsive design, accessibility standards, and microservices architecture.
- Preferred experience includes using Claude throughout the software development lifecycle and writing effective prompts.
