Base Salary
$204k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the Render KV fleet.
- Own full-stack projects end to end as a product engineer.
- Collaborate with design, product, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Evolve and mature the KV product as it scales in users and complexity.
- Develop new KV product capabilities.
- Participate in team planning, roadmapping, and goal-setting.
- Help shape team culture and practices as the company scales.
- Participate in shared on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional experience shipping software.
- Experience collaborating with product and design stakeholders.
- Strong ownership and the ability to make pragmatic decisions.
- Comfort working in distributed systems.
- Experience operating a key-value datastore at scale.
- Familiarity with modern software build and deployment tooling.
- Experience across the stack, including web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple programming languages, is advantageous.
- Experience with Go, TypeScript, React, Kubernetes, Postgres, Terraform, or Temporal is a nice-to-have.
