Responsibilities
- Lead quality engineers through multidisciplinary planning and ecosystem integration.
- Define and implement end-to-end testing strategies, quality processes, testing metrics, and defect-resolution processes.
- Design, develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize automation frameworks using Playwright, TestNG, and Selenium.
- Create and execute automated tests for RESTful services and validate authentication, headers, payloads, and JSON responses.
- Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and conduct performance testing.
- Analyze production incidents, identify root causes, and validate fixes.
- Integrate automation suites with Jenkins and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to improve quality.
- Maintain test reports, metrics, and automation execution dashboards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in automated testing.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong scripting and programming skills.
- Hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API automation.
- Experience with TestNG, JUnit, BDD, and Cucumber.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end application testing concepts, including authentication, headers, payloads, and JSON validation.
- Experience with performance testing; JMeter is preferred.
- Hands-on experience handling production issues and incidents.
- Experience enhancing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
- Understanding of CI/CD, Git, and build tools such as Maven and Gradle.
- Knowledge of BDD and Cucumber is desirable.
- Exposure to AWS or Azure cloud environments is desirable.
- Experience with monitoring and log-analysis tools and understanding of microservices architecture are desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, independent-working, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
