Responsibilities
- Lead a team of quality engineers through multidisciplinary planning and ecosystem integration.
- Define and implement end-to-end testing strategies, quality processes, testing metrics, and defect-resolution processes.
- Design, develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize automation frameworks using Playwright, TestNG, and Selenium.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for RESTful services, including GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE operations.
- Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and improve automation coverage, stability, scalability, and execution efficiency.
- Investigate production incidents, identify root causes, and validate fixes.
- Integrate automation suites with Jenkins and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams on quality improvements.
- Maintain test reports, metrics, and automation execution dashboards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in automated testing.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong scripting and programming skills.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, automation frameworks, and Rest Assured for API automation.
- Experience with JUnit, BDD, and Cucumber.
- Understanding of end-to-end application testing, including authentication, headers, payloads, and JSON validation.
- Experience with performance testing; JMeter experience is preferred.
- Hands-on experience handling production issues and incidents.
- Experience enhancing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Understanding of version control with Git and build tools such as Maven and Gradle.
- Exposure to AWS or Azure cloud environments is preferred.
- Experience with monitoring and log-analysis tools is preferred.
- Understanding of microservices architecture is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, independent-work, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
