Responsibilities
- Define, design, develop, and execute manual and automated test strategies for full-stack React applications.
- Build and maintain scalable Playwright automation frameworks using TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, UI, and API testing across complex enterprise systems.
- Validate business workflows, cross-system integrations, backend data flows, and MongoDB data structures.
- Use AI- and LLM-based tools for test case generation, failure analysis, and improved test data coverage.
- Analyze defects, testing trends, risks, and recurring issues to improve product quality and test strategy.
- Integrate reliable automated test suites into continuous execution pipelines and improve their maintainability.
- Collaborate with frontend, backend, product, and engineering teams to clarify requirements and promote testability.
- Test distributed systems using contract testing, schema validation, mocks, stubs, and service virtualization where applicable.
- Contribute to long-term quality strategy, automation scalability, release confidence, and engineering excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 7–9 years of experience in software testing or quality engineering.
- Strong knowledge of software testing fundamentals, quality assurance principles, and engineering best practices.
- Hands-on experience building and executing Playwright automation with TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience testing React applications, APIs, and backend data structures such as MongoDB.
- Experience testing large, enterprise-scale web applications with complex integrations.
- Exposure to AI-assisted testing or LLM-based quality workflows.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with effective written and verbal communication.
- Experience working with Agile, cross-functional teams.
- Preferred experience scaling automation in CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
- Preferred knowledge of API contract testing, schema validation, data-driven testing, service virtualization, mocks, stubs, performance testing, load testing, reliability testing, QA tooling, and observability.
- Supply Chain or Logistics domain experience is a plus.
