Responsibilities

  • Support application onboarding and middleware operations using Chef and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot and repair applications involving IBM WebSphere, Tomcat, Liberty, Appian, IBM BAW, and Apigee.
  • Design, develop, and deploy applications using Chef, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitLab.
  • Install, configure, integrate, and manage middleware software systems.
  • Containerize applications with OpenShift and support efficient movement and scaling across environments.
  • Use AWS cloud services to manage and support organizational infrastructure.
  • Manage the full SSL certificate lifecycle, including creation, renewal, retention, and revocation.
  • Apply security patches to servers and collaborate with teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Define and monitor middleware performance standards and modify software to correct errors, support hardware changes, upgrade interfaces, and improve performance.
  • Monitor equipment and system operation, and store, retrieve, and manipulate data for system capability and requirements analysis.

Requirements

  • Minimum six years of related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with version control systems including Atlassian Bitbucket and GitHub.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Experience with IBM WebSphere, Liberty, Apache Tomcat, and Red Hat JBoss EAP.
  • Experience with Chef, Terraform, Puppet, and Ansible for configuration management and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, and Azure.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle for build and dependency management.
  • Experience with Apache Kafka, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Bash shell scripting, JavaScript, and Python.
