Responsibilities
- Lead complex technology initiatives, including companywide efforts with broad impact.
- Develop engineering standards and companywide best practices for complex, large-scale technology solutions.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document software for projects and programs.
- Review and analyze complex technology solutions against business objectives, enterprise technology environments, and technical challenges.
- Lead projects and teams, mentor peers, and collaborate with technical experts, senior technology teams, and external industry groups.
- Lead the design of large-scale, distributed, cloud-native, and event-driven systems aligned with architecture, security, and operational standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Experience with event-driven architecture, Kafka, streaming platforms, and asynchronous integration patterns.
- Experience with cloud-native platforms and modern application deployment architectures.
- Experience using or integrating AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Devin, Cursor, or similar platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Angular, React, Kubernetes, and containers.
