Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end architectures that enable AI assistants to discover, understand, and execute Amadeus travel capabilities.
- Define scalable architectures for exposing booking, servicing, shopping, trip management, and travel intelligence capabilities to external AI ecosystems.
- Design interaction models across AI assistants, agents, orchestration layers, APIs, travel services, and enterprise systems.
- Create architecture blueprints, technical roadmaps, implementation guidance, reusable patterns, and architecture guardrails.
- Define standards for agent-ready services, tool interfaces, metadata models, capability boundaries, and discoverability mechanisms.
- Ensure integration with the Amadeus Open Platform and enterprise architecture standards.
- Drive production readiness through observability, monitoring, resilience, governance, security, compliance, and operational controls.
- Lead solution reviews and technical decisions, mentor engineering teams, and influence architecture across multiple organizations.
- Support initiatives from ideation and prototyping through large-scale production deployment.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing enterprise-scale distributed systems and complex integration architectures.
- Strong expertise in API-first, service-oriented, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience defining architectures for externally consumed platforms, ecosystems, or marketplaces.
- Deep understanding of integration patterns, interoperability, and system orchestration.
- Proven ability to lead architecture initiatives from concept through production deployment.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-organizational technical influence skills.
- Preferred: experience with generative AI, agentic AI, AI assistants, and large language model ecosystems.
- Preferred: familiarity with Model Context Protocol, tool-calling frameworks, agent architectures, and AI interoperability standards.
- Preferred: experience integrating enterprise capabilities with Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, OpenAI, AWS, or similar ecosystems.
- Preferred: knowledge of AI observability, evaluation frameworks, governance, and security.
- Preferred: familiarity with Amadeus Open Platform and travel technology ecosystems.
