Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Managers to translate business objectives, customer needs, and product concepts into functional solution designs.
- Define end-to-end user journeys, business processes, capability interactions, functional requirements, scope, dependencies, constraints, and acceptance criteria.
- Design functional flows for user interactions, AI assistant orchestration, travel capabilities, partner integrations, and operational processes.
- Model workflows, data exchanges, decision points, and system interactions while identifying reuse and standardization opportunities.
- Align proposed solutions with enterprise architecture principles, Open Platform direction, architecture roadmaps, and governance requirements.
- Facilitate alignment and decision-making across Product, Engineering, Architecture, UX, Security, and external stakeholders.
- Support engineering delivery through functional clarification, backlog refinement, design reviews, release planning, and validation of delivered functionality.
Requirements
- Ability to model complex business processes and customer journeys and document structured functional requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Understanding of modern software architectures, APIs, cloud-native platforms, integrations, and distributed systems.
- Ability to engage credibly with software engineers and architects and balance business value with technical feasibility.
- Experience working across Product, Engineering, and Business organizations in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Preferred experience in travel technology, digital platforms, marketplaces, AI-enabled products, functional architecture, solution design, business architecture, AI assistants, agent ecosystems, or conversational user experiences.
