Base Salary
$90k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Python and Django UI components and user-facing applications defined by the design team
- Deploy applications into development, testing, and production environments
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate user-facing applications with existing backend components and APIs
- Learn and apply USWDS styling guidelines and web UI best practices
- Produce CSS supplements for existing NCBI and USWDS CSS templates
- Document application user workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant experience
- Experience developing UI/UX applications with Python and Django
- Software development experience in a Linux environment
- Experience developing user-facing web applications
- Experience with the Agile Scrum development process
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
