Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement major algorithmic or Matlab system/product modules and flows.
  • Perform algorithmic analysis, data gathering, literature review, concept selection, evaluation, and implementation planning.
  • Create work plans, document development, and support integration, testing, and proliferation of algorithmic modules.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to analyze gaps, define activities, collect data, and accompany solution integration and testing.
  • Contribute to system definitions and account for system and application environments during development.
  • Tutor and instruct algorithm developers and evaluate new and competitor technologies in the area of expertise.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated depth or breadth of expertise in a specialized algorithmic discipline or field.
  • Ability to interpret business challenges and recommend practices that improve products, processes, or services.
  • Ability to lead others through complex problems and develop innovative solutions using sophisticated analytical judgment.
  • Ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiate with stakeholders to adopt different viewpoints.
  • Ability to lead functional teams or projects with moderate resources, risk, or complexity.
