Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve security architecture for infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.
- Conduct threat modeling, security reviews, architecture assessments, and penetration tests, and oversee remediation activities.
- Develop endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and security monitoring capabilities such as SIEM.
- Secure Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, and AWS environments, including identity and access management and network security.
- Analyze, handle, and follow up on security incidents, including root-cause analysis.
- Automate security processes and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines through Security as Code.
- Advise engineering and infrastructure teams and support compliance and audit activities such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
- Use AI/LLM tools to improve security processes and contribute to secure AI adoption.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional experience in IT security, information security, or security engineering is preferred.
- Strong knowledge in at least one of cloud security, application security, network security, or security operations.
- Practical experience with security standards and frameworks such as OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or CIS Benchmarks.
- Practical experience with EDR solutions and preferably with security monitoring and vulnerability management.
- Good knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language, such as Python, Go, or Bash, for automation.
- Analytical and solution-oriented working style with the ability to communicate technical risks clearly.
- Very good English; German is an advantage.
- Experience with cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, or DevSecOps is advantageous.
- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CCSP, or Security+ are advantageous.
